Bedroom trends move more slowly than trends in the rest of the house, and that's probably a good thing. The principles interior designers keep repeating are strikingly consistent.
One: keep the colour palette soft and limited. Deep, restful tones work better than the bright colours you'll see first thing in the morning.
Two: get screens and work surfaces out of the room where possible. The bedroom works better when the brain associates it with sleep, not with work or Netflix.
Three: pick one warm, dimmable light beside the bed. A central ceiling fixture is almost always too harsh for the hour before sleep.
None of these ideas are new. They keep working because they return the room to what it's actually meant to do.
